Writers’ Retreat in UK

Start your book. Finish your first draft. Reclaim your voice.

Private, application-only 3-day retreats for leaders ready to write with clarity, courage and real momentum.

Your Book Begins Here

You’ve got the idea, the life story, or the leadership message — now get the space, structure and guidance to turn it into the first draft. Over three focused days at The Arise you’ll write more than you expect, refine a clear roadmap to publication, and leave with momentum to take the next steps.

Who This Retreat Is For

This is a boutique, application-only retreat for leaders, entrepreneurs, executives, and storytellers who want to produce a book that matters — whether memoir, leadership, business, or how-to. It is ideal if you are:

  • Serious about finishing a first draft or a substantial manuscript section in 3 days
  • Ready for concentrated writing time, expert feedback and publishing strategy
  • Seeking a premium, quiet setting with small-group accountability
  • Open to equine-inspired sessions for emotional clarity and creative flow

Why The Arise Writers’ Retreat Works

Three days with us can deliver results that normally take months. Here’s why:

  • Structured deep work: Daily writing sprints, focused prompts and headline-first drafting techniques to accelerate output
  • Expert guidance: Writing coach and publishing strategist onsite to provide live feedback, chapter mapping and publishing options
  • Accountability that sticks: Peer critique sessions with a curated group of five other writers
  • Creative reset: Morning equine-inspired clarity sessions and nature walks to unblock and sustain flow
  • Boutique comfort: Single or shared premium accommodation, nourishing meals, and quiet spaces to think and write

What You’ll Accomplish

By the end of the retreat you will:

  • Have a substantial first draft or core chapters completed, tailored to your starting point
  • A clear chapter outline and writing schedule to finish the manuscript
  • A one-page publishing strategy (traditional vs hybrid vs self-publish) and next steps checklist
  • A polished 5–7 minute “book pitch” you can use for proposals, agents or speaking opportunities
  • A supportive writing cohort and follow-up accountability plan
